Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Range & Rack, a service for suppliers to turn vendor quotes into quotes for their clients, and for those clients to read, discuss and accept them. By using it you agree to these terms.
Who can use it
- Suppliers: a company account is opened only after our support team approves a sign-up request. The person who signs up must be allowed to act for the company.
- Your staff: people you add to your company account act on your behalf; you are responsible for what they do.
- Your clients: people you send a quote to can read it, comment on it and accept it. They sign in with their email and a one-time code.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them.
- Give us accurate company and contact details and keep them up to date.
Your content
The vendor files you upload, the quotes you build and the messages you send stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, for example to read lines from your vendor files, to show your quote to the clients you choose and to send the emails the service sends.
Only upload files you are allowed to share. Check every line, price and total before you send a quote: you are responsible for the quotes you send to your clients.
Quotes and acceptance
When your client accepts a quote, Range & Rack records who accepted which version and when, and lets both of you see that record. The agreement that follows is between you and your client; we are not a party to it.
Fair use
- Don't use the service to break the law, to send spam or to upload harmful files.
- Don't try to get into accounts, quotes or data that aren't yours, or to disrupt the service.
Early access and fees
The service is in early access. It is free for now. We will publish prices before anything is charged, and you can stop using the service before then.
We are still building it: features may change, and while we aim to keep it running and your data safe, we cannot promise it will always be available.
Ending your account
You can ask us to close your company account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Before an account is closed we will, where we can, give you a chance to download your quotes.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by quotes, prices or files you or your vendors provide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the service before it takes effect.
